Medical Office Assistant

We are a fast-growing Neuropathy Clinic in the Treasure Valley with our office located in Meridian. We are a warm, friendly, busy office looking to fill a full-time position for a well-rounded office assistant. The staff person we are looking for is friendly, energetic, fun to work with, has a positive mental attitude with mature communication skills both verbal and written.

Duties May Include:
● Welcoming and greeting patients
● Scheduling patient appointments
● Receiving and directing phone calls
● Helping with new patient paperwork
● Directing patients to the correct treatment/exam rooms
● Handling patient questions/concerns
● Filing/uploading patient documents and records
● Giving reminder and follow-up phone calls
● Tracking statistics for show rate and weekly patient appointments
● Performing neuropathy treatments (certification courses provided)
● Running patient financing options/helping with payment plans
● Conducting new patient screening tests
● Conducting new patient consultations
● Helping the office manager and other staff members with daily tasks

Requirements:
● Friendly, outgoing attitude
● Excellent Customer service/phone communication
● Computer skills (email, scheduling software, excel, payment processing)
● Problem solving and multitasking
● Ability to take ownership for own area(s) of the job

Job Type:
● Full-time (Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 5:00pm)
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Our medical office assistant is considered a crucial link between the patient and the care delivered by clinical staff. As such, you will collaborate with all clinical services staff in support of direct patient services, exhibiting flexibility, a loving demeanor with a passion to serve and a cando attitude. Patient services are the key priority in this position, requiring our office assistant to serve as a point of contact with other internal and external departments, all with the goal of fostering an environment which promotes patient comfort and trust. The position must exemplify the core values and mission of the organization, always exercising utmost discretion, diplomacy and tact in patient/staff interactions.
